I shot more than 16.000 photographs during my stay in New York City from the end of April 2005 to the middle of November 2005. In December I did sort of a "best of" selection. I selected 30 photographs out of those 16.000 which I printed for my portfolio.

A Backstage Look At Magnum Photos New York
This is a gallery of photograhs I took during my time at Magnum. It's moslty snapshots. It is a tribute to those behind the scenes. The photographers do a great job, but let's not forget about the people who work for all the Magnum photographers and who dedicate theirselfs to this job. Working at Magnum is certainly not the best payed job in the world. They work there because of their passion. It's a tribute to the Magnum Photos staff in New York. More
Multimedia Gallery: Four Years Later - 9/11 commemoration

To show the atmosphere of that day I am using photographs I shot and audio I recorded at the former World Trade Center site. More
