Hi Tayler. There is no certain technique behind it. Both pictures were taken with the 17-40mm lens I am using (considering the crop factor on the 20D that's a 27.2-64mm lens on a classical film-based camera. The first photo was actually taken at 22mm (equiv. 35.2mm) and the second photo at 17mm (equiv. 27,2mm). I didn't ask for permission, just saw this lady kneed down for the first picture and got up for the second one when the cab arrived... Hope that helped and thanks for stopping by here.

What's your technique for taking this kind of picture? Do you have a zoom lens, do you ask first, or are you just inconspicuous?
