Notes from John F. Kennedy airport
I am sitting on John F. Kennedy International Airport at the moment waiting for my flight to Vienna. Half of my internship is over and I am flying home for two weeks. Will be back in New York on August 8th!
I have to tell you... JFK airport sucks. At least the British Airways terminal sucks. There is no smoking area, there is no Wireless Lan Internet access and no computer with Internet access. I came to the airport early to get a seat with some extra space for my feet at one of the emergency exits and I wanted to go on working a little before boarding. But having no Internet access makes it hard to get stuff done or to post this entry. Will be posting it as soon as I get on the internet again.
Anyway, I am really looking forward to see my girlfriend and my family again. Hm, let's see what I think of Vienna when coming back there tomorrow morning. I already got used to New York City pretty much and could well think of becoming bored in Vienna. But it might also be the other way round. Being away from the city in which I lived for 25 years could also let me see things different again. We'll see.
I will of course update the blog regularly while in Vienna. This message should have originally been posted before leaving Co-Op City but I have been too buisy. I did my laundry, three loads full, this morning at 07:30, it was even hard to find an empty washing machine in the laundry room. Would you beleave that people do there laundry on Sunday mornings? I put together all the stuff which I took with me and I finally answered all the interview questions I got from Canon CPS.
CPS is the Canon Professional Service. They invited me to do an interview with me about this photoblog and my experiences in New York for the Canon CPS site. A great chance to get some exposure for me! I'll let you know as soon as it is published.
My next entry will already be from Vienna.
